I used "comments and rating system" with facebook comments option on url https://www.discprofil.net/lb.html
even I added the necessarry codes provided by facebook to head, as facebook recomended, it is not possible to menage comments anywhere. becouse id in the component provided by x5 seems different then my facebook id.
1) is it possible to moderate facebook comments via x5, if I use the "comments and ratimg sysytem" item. if so how?
2) facebook push me to add its original code to set up comments on the page , but in this case I will loose the comments whisc are done up to date via x5 item.

With the x5 object you can with your admin panel or even the x5app.
the login is in step1 access management. the admin panel if found by adding /admin behind your website adres.
check out the help in x5 i can't explain it better.

The answer is for your first question, but for the normal x5 plugin.
1) is it possible to moderate facebook comments via x5, if I use the "comments and ratimg sysytem" item. if so how?
So if you use comments and rating object.
I try not to do too much with facebook, i don't like this big companys that make great and free software to gain themself money without informing the customers.
So no experience there but I gues you need to control them by using your facebook account.
try to find the answer on internet or on facebook, maybe this page helps?
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/comments/
The helpfile guides you to this page for help on the facebook plug in: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/
But that is about the same I already found on internet
Hope this helps! It's a facebook plugin so control is through facebook, not x5.

Hi Andre ,
How can I find the facebook id of x5 object, which I used in my project in X5
Hi Baris
The standard Comments and Ratings Object when used with Facebook works with the URL to your website.
This means that as long as your website keeps the same URL, all the comments should be there.
Be careful because this usually includes the http/https too
So, as long as you're still on the same domain, you should not have any issue
Keep me posted on this should there be anything new
Thank you
Stefano

Hi Stefano,
I understand how Comments and Ratings Object when used with Facebook works.
My main issue is, how to moderate these comments on my URL. Without a moderation tool Comments and Ratings Object when used with Facebook is useless, becouse after any unwanted comment, it is only possible to remove it from URL.
so my opinion is, this comments and rating object needd a moderation tool in X5. Otherwise with only facebook code can work on the URL.
If I knew this problem. ( ı should warn before I took comments on URL) now I am going to lose my comments on URL, after removing Comments and Ratings Object .
stil I am working on a solution before losing my comment
please inform me if you have any further idea
thank
Baris
In the help of x5 it say's:
Facebook: this uses Facebook's Social Plug-in to organize discussions and comments.

Hi Baris.
In order to moderate the comments by Facebook, you need to check out their very own tools available to you to achieve such a result.
Take a look at this part specifically -> 1. Page-based Moderation View
In this page : https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/comments#moderation
I believe you can find useful information about it there
Let me know if you manage to sort this out or if I may provide further help
Thank you
Stefano
Hi guys i also same problem with Baris (barış) if we choose comment setting as a facebook system at websitex5 we couldt give a moderation for example there is not any box to login as a admin at facebook at settings. then we can try facebook settings at this page https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/comments#moderation some thing going wrong . comment box working but we cannot moderate. facebook says embed some admin meta code so i can add at opening to head section but not working. am i add meta code wrong head or body section ? also meta code must embed page seperately where i want to moderate comment but blog page cannot editing
i think some thing missing about your comment options of facebook . i said again box is working but we cannot moderate comments.

Hi everybody,
My solution about to solve this problem ( at least it seems as a problem from our side with Mehmet)
1) I created a new page for my old comments, and moved all my old comments from my pages, with facebook tool "embed to web page" turkish version is "sitene göm"
2) I removed all "Comments and Ratings Object" from pages where I used.
3) I build facebook comment tool with the codes which facebook provides
4) I changed all url of pages which visitors coommented before ( facebook needs this, becouse facebook keeps comments related with url, facebook brings old comments which you can not moderate )
Mehmet it would be nice to create a group with people who uses x5 in Turkey, or are we the only two person using x5 :)
thank you everybody

If this is not possible, again, I did not test any, then Incomedia needs to solve this. It could be that it worked and facebook changed there options or scripts, i don't know, anyway, it should be changeable.
