How can I disable the menu name for showing on the top left side of the main
pages

So I hope i set you in the correct direction.
you can set several options on and off in step2 template -> text field and button style and the option are in the pulldown, tag these on or off (page title, page path).
If you want the main menu not to be visible select main menu (or any other menu item) and hit hidden is stap3.
you may also mean a part of the menu, this is done in the menu object. use pulldown select the menu of the items you want to display. (probably in the template)
You could also mean the level or hamburgermenu specificly, but let's wait your responce.
