In Firefox the web page does not display the control bar below the image but instead there is a little square graphic. The page displays correctly in microsoft edge. I need to know what this graphic means and how to get the control bar to display in the firefox browser. It used to work fine but now it doesn't.I've attached a close up of what the little imgae is.
Here's the page: http://www.frostymiller.com/amberg-ranch.html

Okay I think I might have figured it out. I recently got a touchscreen monitor for my desktop and it appears that instead of getting the scroll bar on my screen it puts this little "swipe" icon. I'm hoping that anyone viewing the page realizes that they have to swipe since the scroll bar isn't there. The icon shows a property name of "imswipe.png" and when I looked it up that's what is means, to swipe. Go figure! Guess I'm behind the times as I didn't know what that icon meant....LOL
If anyone else is seeing something I'm not please let me know or if there is a way to get the scroll bar instead of the little swipe icon that would be great.
Hello Christie,
X5 checks if the user that visit's your site has a touwscreen, in most cases this would be a mobile.
Then it automaticly switches to a swipe function. On all other pc's you will see the normal menu.
It's better to leave it because the menu is very hard to push correctly on a small screen and if it's bigger you wont see the site nicely.
So having a laptop with a prtscrn is a bit of both worlds and x5 tread's this as a mobile. If you disable the touchscreen function on your laptop or use a normal pc, the menu will be there normaly.
For the common use and use for mobile's i advice you to leave it the way it is your website can be better viewed for most users, else mobile's will turn away and these are more and more used for viewing, that would be a shame.
Hope this helps,
