Apply a Gradient overlay using the Content Slider

Hi
Does anyone know a way of applying a Gradient overlay to the top a picture in the new Content Slider, I have tried applying it in the Style object and the Row Formats and a simple separator on the page.

Hello Peter,
maybe someone knows if you can do that with WSX5. I tried also but did not find a solution with WSX5.
One possibility way could be be to add a gradient to the image itself and then save it as a PNG file ... e.g. with Photoshop. If you are not familiar with it, it is of course not an easy solution.
