Is there an existing option for Show/Hide Objects in responsive sites where the objectisinvisible for the current breakpoint but still visible at lower break points. Sometimes the objects at the upper breakpoints (Desktop) don't ranslate very well to lower breakpoints (Smartphone). Is there something that I am missing?

Hello Brian,

No there isn't, not at present anyway...  only the other way around.

This has been asked for a few times before.

If you like we can turn this thread into an 'Idea' so you can add your vote for it to be included in a future WebSite X5 release?

Kind regards,

Paul

Brain,

I posted Show/Hide objects for different resolutions request back in October 2018.

Read it! I also showed a way how to accomplish this effect using "Expert" code.

I think it's a right time to remind Incomedia that such request has been posted ninteen months ago...

As you can see - nothing has been done. Sad...

Tom, Looking at your code from a previous post - do you place it within the object by enabling html? Let me know where to place it.

Cheers

Brain,

You put  it between <style> and </style>  in:

3 Map ==> your page ==> Properties ==> Expert ==> "Before closing the HEAD tag"

You have to find the objects (like in my code: #imGroup_6, #imCell_55, #imGroup_12, etc.) inspecting the source.

Right-click on the Preview, and select Inspect Source.

I hope it will work for you!

Enjoy your 3rd party code.

I first requested this in 2016, but I believe others beat me to the punch. Still, it did not help because either Incomedia forgot, don't care or don't agree with the request. I find this inability very frustrating.

Hi Brian,

I have set this message as Idea. I know this feature has been asked some time ago already, and I am sorry it hasn't been implemented yet, but I will be happy to bring the attention back on this topic.

Thank you! I wish you a lovely day.
