Websitex5 page creation abstraction advantage

At first I was confused by the way in which Websitex5 handles layout, but I've come to appreciate the abstraction. By working in this way, you aren't distracted by details such as colour, text sizes and images; allowing you to quickly create a page layout.
Other website builders allow you to drag and drop in WYSIWIG mode, which sounds great on the surface, but it actually slows you down.

Well, I'm used to see the design right away (WYSIWYG) - and WSX5 is slowing me down considerably 'cause I have to Preview the site quite often.
I wish that WSX5 has a similar WYSIWYG system like MOBIRISE or PageXL...but it will never happen, unfortunately...

Thanks. You can also try Nicepage (they used to make Artisteer). It has it's advantages (e.g. you can make wordpress templates and it has WYSIWYG) and disadvantages (e.g. no ecommerce and forms are not as good).
If you have a large enough moniter or more than one you can leave preview open. Just click on the preview eyecon/text and the open preview updates. No need to close an reopen. Saves me a lot of time and I can keep the cursor in the X5 working screen. Just a thought.
