Access to Control panel

What are the requirements that are necessary to access and set-up the Control panel? What are the step by step instructions needed please. I've found some posts in the help center, but what I've viewed and tried, doesn't seem to help.
The password and username, are they the same as the help center log in? Where do/can I create the necessary username and pw?

To have access to the control Panel you must be in the role of an adminitrator:

After setting up such one you have access to the the control panel by
https://[mywesite]/admin

in addition to what Klaus already mentioned, you will find the login credentials within the software, on Step 1 > Access Management - Admin.
