my website x5 evo is not allowing me to transfer my files to my web hosting service, i have spoken to my hosting provider and they said port 3 has been blocked, and alternatively how can i convert my files to a zip format, please assist

i've tried that but its still not allowing me to connect, the FTP details i got from my hosting service is exactly what i put in. what else can i try ?
Check your connection details with your hosting provider.
Make sure that your IP is not blocked on the hosting.
Try connecting to your hosting via FTP using FileZilla or something similar.
Temporarily disable your antivirus, firewall and any other protection.
