Latest Google cwv slap down on web pages
Autor: John W.Seems like Google just hit many of us again with a poorer score on the Core Web Vitals. The largest contentful paint, which is the biggest object first found on a page, either a picture or long text, is now being scrutinized on "desktop." I just saw 16 of my pages get discovered with a lower score. Blog pages.
Since the blog creation in Website X5 is basically a text window, and a long one at that if you type a lot, there does not seem to be a way to get past this poor score. Unless ... Website X5 can create a blog creation with cells like the rest of the program. If you can give us that cell block grid, we can create a small opening paragraph in one cell (row). Then another small one. Add pictures, basically create a blog post just as we do a web page, adding whatever object we want to a cell. Mostly text or graphics. But I guess a gallery object could be useful too. Could snaz up the blog creation quite a bit.
What do you think? Could the blog section of the progam incorporate the same grid capablity as when writing a normal web page?
Hello. I sent a notification about your question to the company employees, expect an answer from them here in the comments.

Hi John,
I put in an idea to have blog pages similar to web pages back in 2019 but the idea fell on deaf ears. https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/de/post/210625

Let's shout louder so they can hear us. It should be easy for them to implement the blog creation with the same tools used to create a page. I have actually written a few pages in a blog like style because I wanted the pages to be picked up easier in the sitemap.xml and to have a static url. But then of course, anyone looking in the blog for them would not find them there. Not sure what the best answer is other than Google needs to not be so crazy about everything. Let us just write web pages, and then Google just needs to let the world see them.
I also keep a manual sitemap.xml within the blog folder. I add a line to it each time I create a blog page. And that sitemap file is also on record with Google and Bing to actively look at every 2 to 3 weeks when they crawl the sitemap.xml files. And creating a manual sitemap.xml using Notepad is really easy. Already have the template technically to use from the main file. Copy it, empty it, re-add to it. It is some work, but necessary.
Hello John,
I set your message as Idea, so to bring the attention back on this necessity.
Thanks! Kind regards.

Thanks, Elisa.
And any forward progress on setting up automated ALT tags for all shopping cart images? I'm going to keep circling back to that one every time one of these SEO guys tells me I have so many errors on my website, which is actually about two dozen of them a week, most from India. They don't give up. Just hoping the file names of any JPEG placed on any page in any way can automatically be the defalt for the image ALT text. And then of course with the manual ability to override and type what you want. Please let me know if anyone is working on that.

Hi!
Unfortunately, I still haven't got any news about the ALT tag question, I am sorry about that. I will let you know in case of any developments.
Thanks! Kind regards.
