E-Commerce gallery: How to add descriptions for each picture

I dont see any functionality on Pro which allows for one to add descriptions for each image added to a particular product on the e-commerce. To explain- I sell the same item in many colours so I add multiple images of the product in different colours with an option drop-down to choose the colour. however, the customer cant determine what colour each picture is as I cannot add a description to the image on the product gallery. Any ideas or help? I am desperate.

"Any ideas or help? " - If there are not many products, you can create a page for each product manually. Then you can use the gallery object and add a description to each image. For example. This is a demo site from video tutorials.
