Adding to sitemap  en

Is there a simple way to have all my images included in my sitemap.xml?    The only images that are included are those using the image object in the cells.    Every image within my project has descriptions and alt tags.   Is there a way to manually insert these not recognized images into the sitemap?   They are all .jpg's converted to .webP.

Can an image sitemap be created specifically for all the images?

If the SEO tab is filled out for the image objects, then the image should also appear in the sitemap.xml file.

For images in the text object, the image would probably need to be manually added to the sitemap.xml file.

In which object were the images added?

That's what I'm asking.   Anything on adding images inserted into text blocks is what I want to do.  I do that already with the image object.   Any ideas on how I can create an image sitemap to please Google or manually insert them into the current sitemap?

Normally, WebSite X5 creates the sitemap.xml automatically and presumably it always overwrites the old sitemap.xml on the web space, so that manual entries in the sitemap.xml would be deleted and you would have to re-enter them each time.

It would be better to design the pages in such a way that the images are inserted into an image object and then entries are made in the SEO tab for the image so that the program enters it in the sitemap.xml.

Maybe the moderators or Incomedia employees have tips for images in text objects so that they don't have to be constantly re-inserted into the sitemap.xml.

Otherwise place images in image objects and text without images in text objects.

You are right about the manual entry in the sitemap.  I'm thinking the same, but I do like to use the extended feature with certain rows and if you were to add another cell in the row, the extended feature won't work.  Unless there is a way to get around it, then that's probably what's going to have to happen if I want my images indexed.

Describe the problem (in the 2nd and 3rd sentences) in more detail so that people can understand it and possibly find a solution.

Pretty much what I'm wanting to know is if there is any way to get more width out of the page, particularly when there are multiple objects in a row.  Because it's only possible to extend the width (of margins) when there is only one object in that particular row.

I just tested it, the "Expand" option only works with 1 object per row.

This additional width is only useful for wide screens, visitors with narrower screens do not benefit from it.

With texts, an additional extension makes little sense, so I don't see it as a problem if it doesn't work with 2 or more objects in 1 line.

What I noticed is that 2 images are not displayed on narrow screens.

Ok, that makes sense.  I only have a wide screen to view it on.
