In the us there is a social review site called Yelp that is not currently available in the Social Icons Object that can be used for linking to various social sites.  How can this be added to the existing pick list.

You can use an online tool to create and link the social icons that the Social Icons object does not have.

It's best to create and link all social icons with the online tool, then copy the code and paste it into an HTML object in WebSiteX5. This HTML object can be placed in the page's grid just like the "Social Icons" object.

I created a post about it, see

Interesting.  Appreciate the response and the look at the tool.  I still would like Incomedia to provide it as part of the tools that I purchased from them.  I can actuall pull the icon of the site and build the link in raw HTML.  But that's not what I paid for.  That site wants to chage additional funds to use it's tool to give the HTML code.  I already spend enough to keep X5 updated and this seems like an easy ask,

Using the online tools is also free, just click the ($0) button.

If you want, you can also wait at Incomedia until the “Social Icons” object is expanded at some point.

(It > De) ... if you're interested, post the link to your page containing the social icon object...

I ended up trying and using what Daniel W suggested.  So the item I'm talking about that needs updating though is the configuration screen is and what I'm unable to do is make the Social Media Name show yelp.  I  don't  find  the  object  above.

The image is on the preview page of the Social Icons item from the Marketplace.

KolAsim needs the link/URL to the page with the “Social Icons” object so that it can create a JavaScript code suitable for that page, which you would then have to paste into WebSiteX5.

Therefore, neither the online tool nor KolAsim's suggestion will work without additional code.

I used the link provided for the Nifty Buttons.  It looks really good and I was able to have color set most of the way I wanted.  But I would still like to see X5 update the software objects.  Yelp is a major player in the marketing world at least here in the US.  They have smaller player on the list.  Not sure what the issue is with them not adding Yelp.  But that's just an old computer geeks opinion.  I only work with my wifes web page part time so not as familure with all the other options out there as my real job has me writing in 2 other laguages.

Wait an Incomedia update on their object smile

Ane continues to put the pressure

it's normal to push them  for a paid object which is not up to date regarding th market foot-in-mouth
