Is this process pretty easy?
Do this include some type of security?
How do I make sure the domain name stays with the X5 hosting?

Hello Michael,
you can find information on domain transfer here:
https://guide.websitex5.com/en/support/solutions/articles/44002248716-dominio-web-come-si-trasferisce-un-dominio
As long as it is renewed yearly, the domain will remain associated with the hosting space.

I am switching over to X5 hosting and have supplied the authorization code to activate the second level domain name. It said it would take 24-48 hours. Does it look like everything is moving forward?
I know I am being impatient.
Sincerely,
Michael Curley
Hello Michael.
what domain did you transfer? I will take a look.

district12bridge.org
Thank-you

Hello Michael,
from what I can see the domain is in transfer, and currently it is not in an error status, so the transfer should be complete soon.
The exact timing depends on the current registrar, as with some it may take a bit longer, but overall it should be a few days at worst.

It has been over 48 hours and still no activation of the domain www.district12bridge.org
There is information on the website that needs to be updated.
Is this a GoDaddy issue (the previous domain registar) or a Website X5 issue?
Sincerely,
Michael Curley
Hello,
checking the domain, I currently still see it in the "Transferring in" status, and it seems to be pending a registry approval.
I would suggest checking in with GoDaddy to see whether there is still something restricting the transfer or if the wait is normal.

Eric,
I was able to get my GoDaddy conflict resovled.
I will not be using x5 for hosting. Please stop all domain transfer activities.
Thanks for your help

Hello Michael,
as the transfer restriction was not lifted, I can confirm that the transfer will not be able to go ahead.
