Additional menu item in Hamburger menu cannot be jumped to  de

Hi community,

for my website,I am using the template "CV Power" from Incomedia. It is a single-page template, therefor no page levels, only the top level.

All menu items are only anchors on this single page, with separate names (Start, about me, Services and so on)

All anchor points can be addresses by a hamburger menu, as in the original template. If you select a menu item, then the website jumps to the region of the page, where the anchor is located,

So far everything ok.

Now, I had to add an additional anchor=menu item. I have added the page in the page setup, I have set a link to the additional anchor in the page properties.
And I see the additional entry in the hamburger menu, that's fine.

However, if the new menu item is selected in the lowest res mobile setup (which means displayed on a smartphone in portrait mode), the website does not go to the new anchor - but only in the lowest resolution mobile setup. In the other three responsive setups  with more pixels, it works as it should

The weird thing ist, that the wsx5 preview shows the same error behaviour, only in low-res mobile mode-

What am I missing

Thanks for alle clues to the solution

Rudolf

Hello Rudolf,
I am sorry about the issue.
Could you provide additional details about the current layout/configuration of the page and menu, so that I can try to replicate the situation and examine it?
Thank you.

Online translation:

Hallo Rudolf,
Vielen Dank.

Hello folks,

here is the config (in a series of screenshots).

Sitemap:

("mein Blog" - outlined in red - is the menu item, which is not adressable in smartphone mode)

Page layout: (this is the only content page, as this is a single-page layout)

The red outline shows the anchor that cannot be addressed. This anchor is labeled "myblog".

Anchor link:

Hope, this leads to what is missing

Regards, Rudolf

Hello Rudolf

I've checked the website and I think the issue is that you likely hid the object containing the Anchor in Step 4 -> Responsive.

This is a known issue where if you hide the Object onto which the Anchor has been placed, this happens.

Can you check if this is the case with your project?

Thank you

Stefano

Hi Eric, hi KolAsim,

your diagnosis was perfectly right.

I switched the anchor object from hide to show - and it works as it should.

(I wasn't aware that I did hide the object, it was unintentional. Must have happened when trying to geht the responsiveness right ;-)

But hey, many thanks to both of you.

Regards, Rudolf
