This issue which i report happens from time to time in different versions of WEBsite X5. I am working with the very latest version 2026 1.1.

When i am trying to add on an existing website A NEW e.g. Text or Image object and tried to open it to assign text or an image - the loader appears and runs for minutes - sometimes for an hour without any reaction. It then can happen if you have patient enough, that the object was opened - but this waiting time is unacceptable - you could not work in that way.

Another example: you copy an existing object e.g. a picture and paste (insert) this on an other place. Now press SAVE button and the application freezes again.

In Task Manager you see that CPU Usage jumps up or down, means something is happening in background. Because nobody can wait for an hour that freeze will disappear - i must terminate the app with task manager. 

If i am editing existing objects on websites it works, but adding new objects kills the app. I have created a video which shows it precisly. This behavior happens on different computers, its not an isolated issue on special hardware... and again it is not the first time it happens in older versions as well. There was a feeling if you wait for few days sometimes it works better sometimes absolutely worse. As an action i always updated to a newer version when this problem appears, but it will not help really.

It must have something to do with adding a) new sites  or b) new objects.
