Pages change for no reason

I made several similar pages with a background image. Then I checked them all and there was no problem. I started making other pages with a link to them. But... On some of the pages the background image started to disappear, without me making any changes to them, everything else is fine. What could be the reason?

Hello Lyudmil,
I am sorry about the issue.
Could you please check the situation after regenerating the files of the project with CTRL + Preview?
If it is still not displayed,
could you check the settings where you added this background (I imagine in the Row Formats), are you able to download the image you chose or do you encounter an error?
I remain available.

Pressing CTRL+Prev has no effect - the page remains without the background image. The attached image contains the settings that have been made for all the problematic pages. The background image appears only after I select it again from the folder and confirm the page.
Some time ago I also had the problem that images suddenly disappeared and I had to select the images again. I have no idea why the pictures disappeared back then.

A question, Lyudmil: are these duplicate pages from the same page that you later modified? If so, it's the same problem I reported about a year and a half ago, which caused background images positioned in the row style to disappear.

I don't have duplicate pages.Here's what I do:
I create a page (for example, page1.html) and edit it until it's ready. In Preview it's OK.
I copy the page and it becomes page1_copy.html.
I rename the page without opening it anywhere (for example, page2.html).
Only then do I start editing the page.
Everything is fine with both pages - there is a background image. But when I switch to work on another page, the background disappears on one or more of the previous pages.
I too have lost background images and at times individual images in a slide show when duplicated. I found that the chances of this happening was significatly reduced if I selected save after duplicate and again after rename. At peak paranoia I resorted to save and exit WX5 after duplicating so all writes could be finalised and committed to disk.
Hello Lyudmil,
from what you describe, they seem to be duplicates as Giuseppe meant: you copy a page and use it at the basis for other pages, which seems to be what he meant.
What do you mean by the bolded part "Everything is fine with both pages - there is a background image. But when I switch to work on another page, the background disappears on one or more of the previous pages."?
Are the backgrounds visible as long as you are working on the first copy (which becomes page2) and only notice this occurring when you work on a separate page rather than one of these duplicated ones?
I remain available.

I was made a 12 pages like as of prevision post. Then I checked all of them one by one- all pages was correct, with background picture.
Then I made a two new pages (not copy). After that I check again in preview mode and saw that in one page no more background picture. I had continiue with another two new pages. And... two old correct pages, that I checked before, was lost background picture.
I tried and ctrl+preview- that the same.
Back then, not only did images disappear from the pages, but also from blog posts and products in the shop.
At that time, Incomedia couldn't find a reason for the disappearance of the images, so I just replace the missing images as I find them and the matter is over for me.
I just encountered the problem of missing images again on one of my test sites, see

Pages are very simple- 4 text fields and one picture. No parallax, no filters.
I found something about the problem by looking at the pages in more detail, but I have no explanation for it. The file was fine for a while after it was created. You can take a look at the video.
Ho guardato il video di Lyudmil: come sospettavo si tratta di immagini nello Stile Righe e lui ha parlato anche di pagine che ha duplicato (copy) e poi ha modificato. Siamo lì come problema, è molto simile a quanto segnalato da me l'anno corso.
Ciao
If Incomedia cannot offer an explanation or a solution, then all you can do is reinsert the missing images and hope that the images stay there.
It is recommended to look at the website from time to time and also test the function in order to identify errors that appear later so that they can be corrected before too many visitors see these errors.

I have already re-inserted the background on 2/3 of the pages. In some pages the (d)efect started to appear again. The pages are currently few and it is unpleasant, but I have a plan for 70+ pages...
Therefore, I want to understand where the error is - in the software (Incomedia) or in the hardware (Me).
Hello Lyudmil,
could you provide me with a copy of the project so that I can attempt replicating the issue?
You can export it in Step 5 - Export, choosing the “Export the project” option to generate an IWZIP file, making sure not to use the options to include backup and preview files so that the size of the file is reduced.
You can then upload the file with SwissTransfer, TransferNow or similar services, and provide a download link to support @ incomedia.eu (without the spaces).
Thank you.
I suspect there is a problem in WebSite X5's internal image management.
Maybe the Incomedia staff can say, if they're allowed to, whether it's WebSite X5 or the computer. But in both cases, users can't do anything.

I sent what Eric asked me to do.
In the meantime, I think I recognise what was going on. It lost about two hours of searching.
The error occurred when I created the first page. I am not a professional web designer and I do everything myself.
Now I will try to tell you how I started. Then I will explain what the program itself did to create the page.
(Apologize me for the long post)
Me:
I create a new page with 4 rows and two columns.
I set 4 text fields and one for an image.
I fill in the fields with text and a photo.
I add the background image from a jpg file and as parameters: 5- center position and opacity 10%.
Then I decided that the text was very close to the logo on the page and added a line at the beginning and placed a separator. I saw that the separator was not covered by the background image and went into the page settings to add it. Along with that, I also changed the opacity to 30%.
The page now looked good and I saved the project.
Then I started adding pages as a copy of the first one, changing the name and content.
Only then did I discover that the background image had disappeared on some of the pages, although it was present in the description.
WebsiteX5:
Creates a new page and a list of operations (for example, to make undo work).
Adds each change to the list of operations and based on the latest changes, generates the page code.
Everything works perfectly until the separator is added. I'm not 100% sure about what happens next, but I think the following:
The program adds the separator as a new element of the page and a new index in the list of operations.
When I went into the page settings to add the separator to the background image and change the opacity, the program added these settings to the separator index (it is at the beginning anyway), without deleting or changing the previously created index for the page view. As a result, we have two background image entries, in which different parameters are set (opacity 30% and 10%). The created page is working until the algorithm that interprets and displays the page on the screen decides that it should not display something that has conflicting parameters. And the background image disappears.
Still, it is good to wait for the opinion of Incomedia on the case.
Hello Lyudmi,
unfortunately we did not receive any download link, what address did you use the rilf-bg.com address to send it?
Autor
Yes, office monkey rilf-bg dot com May be moved a spam folder?
Hello Lyudmil,
apologies for not confirming this, I received the link and downloaded the project.
Which of the pages is the original one from which you created the others using it as a template?
I remain available.
Autor
First was TN2421.html, next -> TN2590.html, third -> TN3480.html
Hello,
the issue has been reported to the development team to investigate the cause.
