Blog Main Page Titles Very Small  en

Hi Incomedia,

I've just been looking at my website and noticed the blog titles on the main blog page have suddenly become very small. When I view my website in Preview Mode it looks fine but online the font appears very small. The title font has always been and still is 20pts in my settings, but in the search engines (Brave, Firefox) it looks like 12pts.

My descriptions on the main blog page also seem to be affected. They are supposed to be 14pts but online it shrinks to about 12pts.

See here: https://www.thetahealth.co.za/blog

Is this an error, or has some setting changed?

Regards, Nigel.

...x Nigel, ... (It > En) ... while you wait, if you want, you can fix it right now with one click using an EXTRA CSS code, which won't cause any problems...
<style>
.im-cc-BlogPostCardTitle h1 a{font-size:40px !important}
.im-cc-BlogPostCardDescription {font-size:30px !important}
</style>

...I changed the colors in my STAMP to make it stand out and make it stand out...
...!...(...I advise against using <h1> and <h2> tags...)...!...

.

ciao

Hi Eric,

I'm also having problems with my website's blog not loading. I've just sent out an email newsletter to my customers and the whole blog is blank. Do you know if this is also a WX5 software problem?

My blog is: https://www.thetahealth.co.za/blog

Thanks, Nigel.

Hello Nigel,
I am sorry about the issue.
We investigated the situation of users who reported something similar, and the cause was the security service Imunify.
You might either have Imunify too, or a similar security solution on your hosting space.
What happens is that it affects a file called x5engine.php, replacing a part of its code with the warning

/**
* Note: This file may contain artifacts of previous malicious infection.
* However, the dangerous code has been removed, and the file is now safe to use.
*/

leading it to malfunction. Please report the situation to your provider's support so that they can confirm if this is the situation for your case too.
If so, please request to them that x5engine.php is added to the ignore list of Imunify and also have them send a report to Imunify so that they can know x5engine.php is not a malicious file.
This way, once this is sorted, the file will be generated correctly again once you publish the website again.
I remain available.

Hi Eric,

I've sent my hosting company (Afrihost) a message but I had a quick look for the Imunify program you mentioned and it does appear it is considering the X5engine file as malicious.

I will await their answer.

Regards, Nigel.

Hi Eric,

Here's the response from my hosting company and all is fixed now on my blog.

_______

"We investigated the issue and confirmed that our security software was detecting the x5engine.php file and automatically sanitizing it, which resulted in the following comment being inserted into the file:

Note: This file may contain artifacts of previous malicious infection.

Based on the information you provided and our findings, we have now added the x5engine.php file to the Imunify360 ignore list to prevent it from being modified by future malware scans.

At this point, the original x5engine.php file will need to be restored from your side. As recommended by the software vendor, you can do this by republishing your website or restoring a clean copy of the file using your website builder.

Once the original file has been restored, Imunify360 should no longer modify it.

If you continue to experience any issues after restoring the file, please let us know and we'll be happy to investigate further."

Many thanks, Nigel.
