Losing data/information in "Message Box"  en

I am having trouble with lost data or text in "message Box" in Text Objects.  I create a link in Text Object to a "Message Box"  link option 6.  I save information, then over time it disappears.  The amount of information is only 100-200 characters, but it required research to find.  This is not really enough to dedicate a full page to, since many of my projecrts have long surpassed the 500 page stipulaion for szie recommendation.

For those not familiar with the Text Object link selection to "Message Box" I am includeing an image.

I have had this trouble for many years in both "Evolution" and "PRO" versions.

At one time I read to press control Key when saving, but it does not help.

I may not use a lot of the features of the program.  However this is one that is very helpful and page saving.

Just thinking, maybe there is a limit on the number to "Message Boxes" one can create in a project, like the recommended page limit.

The Incomedia employees will be online again on Monday and may be able to say something about it.

It is possible that these messages are saved in an internal text management system in the program and are occasionally lost when the project is opened and saved frequently.

With images, it sometimes happens that images disappear and I have to add the images again.

Possibly save several short texts on a page and link them using an anchor, which then opens the relevant section of the page in the ShowBox.

This means that the page with the many sections of text would be saved on the web space and could not be deleted by the program.

The pages with the text sections could be set to "hidden" under "3 Sitemap" so that they do not appear in the menu.

I like this idea.  I will give it a try.  THANK YOU!

James

----- 1. Sitemap with both sides that matter -----

----- 2. Text object with anchor links und link settings -----

----- 3. Page with the texts displayed in the ShowBox -----

----- 4. a. Settings for page with many text objects for ShowBox, first do this ... -----

----- 4. b. ... and then do this -----

Hello James,
I am sorry about the inconvenience.
Have you noticed any pattern in the disappearance of these text in the message boxes, for example older ones disappearing when you add a new one, or ones that are placed in a page you recently edited?
I remain available.

For the three sites I do for my wife, I have over 100 projects with 200 to 500 pages.  So it is hard to track.  I only notice the problem when I come across i link that does not work.  As I said earlier, this has been an on going problem.  Daniel's solution seems viable to me.  However, it does nothing for the links yhat have disappeard already.

Always appreciate help and ideas.  I just an old (77years) amateur helping my wife.  I have no official training.

Thanks

I have a small website with a small blog and manage my brother's website with around 70 pages.

I also have some test pages and a demo shop to understand users' problems in the community and possibly find solutions.

A problem that I notice from time to time with my websites is the disappearing images in the program and also on the websites. Apparently there is no solution from Incomedia for the problem yet.

Another suggestion:

If the issue with links opening a popup doesn't solve the problem, then maybe try footnotes.

So in the text there are links like [7], which link to the end of the page, where the corresponding text is for each footnote. And if the link no longer works, there is still the text at the end of the page.

Example of a page with footnotes:

Headline

Here is a long text on a comprehensive topic and so on...

And there is a word [7] in the text that requires explanation or additional information.

Thanks, I will try to remember.  I think I like your other solution better.  However, I appreciate your ideas.
