No more offline use possible? 
Autor: Roman M.In the last couple of years my license-file "magically" disappeared
after ~4 weeks - making a "license-renewing" online necessary.
But I use an offline-production-network ... to be souvereign ...
After a 9-month break I checked the new version yesterday -
and today it is not possible to run the software without internet-
"renewal" of the license ...
This is (and I write about these things for about many years)
not a creative solution. In fact it´s terrible!
I would like to have a license that makes the software run for
365 days without interruption or disturbance - and NOT depending
on a working internet connection with the constant fear of failiures
or various errors and being not able to work when I want ...
Is there really NO way to make the software run without
the dangerous (hacks, viruses, etc. ...) internet always there
like the sword of Damocles?
Not good ... (for years) ... getting worse year by year ...
Making users that (!) dependent is contra-productive!

I confirm WebSite X5 can still be used offline: could you please let me know what you were doing when the online connection was required?
There are indeed some aspects of the software that require an internet connection in order to be able to operate. This is the case for the license activation, the online export, downloading a new template/optional object and in general every feature that requires connecting to our servers. You can still however open an existing project and edit pages normally even if you're offline.
