Hi I want to create a web site similar to www.ukdetectornet.co.uk with a banner on top, a menu down the left-hand side below which I wish to put some google ads. Down the right-hand side I want similar to the above site ie an image link, below that a donate button and then below that maybe a RSS feed from the BBC or Nat Geographic.

I can design all this OK but am unsure as to whether to use a row of two text boxes alongside the left-hand menu. The 1st text box I have set at 77.17% and use this for my main text, running down the middle of the page. For the right-hand side I have tried a variety of boxes in a column but it all goes out of sync when I add several in the row.

How is it best to create this right-hand side column if I want to have an image, a Paypal donate button and an RSS feed all in the right-hand column.
