Switching between currencies

Hi,
My internet shop have two currencies: LVL and EUR. I realize it by creating two similar websites (one for LVL and other for EUR). Users can click on link to choose appropriate currency by swithching betwean this two sites. Everything works well if not count a follow problem: when user adds to basket a product in LVL shop (for example about 100 LVL) and then make decision to change currency to EUR, a product are still in basket and now costs 100 EUR (or 71 LVL if convert to LVL).
A solution can be to empty basket, when user click on currency link, but I'm not sure if it a possible in X5.
Please advice, how to solve this problem?

address of website are www.ladycomp.lv than click on E-veikals (online shop).
Yes, both shops are on same domain: LVL shop are on www.ladycomp.lv/e-veikals and EUR shop are on subdirectory eur, respectively: www.ladycomp.lv/eur/e-veikals

Could you please check if in both ecommerce projects in the Menu 1 "Website URL" you are using the same adress?
You need to use in both only http://www.ladycomp.lv and then it will work normally.

thank you very much for your answer! Yes, on both projects Website URL are same: http://www.ladycomp.lv Firstly I was finish LVL project, than dublicate it and make canges only for shopping cart prices. Looks that we need to find other solution for this problem?

The procedure that you did is correct. Probably we did something little different.
I simulated your cart system and what I did was this:
I created a project with a cart and added the products with the price with another currency and saved it in the main directory.
After in the same project with the same products i changed currency and price in euro and saved the cart in a subfolder "eur/" and when i was switching between currencies the cart was working how it should.

Hi,
do you assure, that in your simulation of cart system when you simply switch currencies by clickig on link, previously added products no more available in second cart? Or in other words - cart becoming empty by clicking on link.
Unfortunately I'm still have the same result. If I cohoose product A in first cart, then switch to second cart, product A are still in basket and is available for same value, but in other currency. Seems it was remembered by browser cache. Please, help me solve this problem!

In my simulation when I was switchinfg cart the product was still available but the price was displayed with the correct value in the currency i clicked.
If you want that, when you change currency and thge client has an empty cart, you have to create a new project with WebsiteX5 where you make the second ecommerce.
Do not copy the project because in this case it will use always the same cart.
