Now when it ask for what extensions, i pick a couple that looked like they applied ! this got my login page to work and show the registration button (doesn't work) and the blog still doesnt work. i have read the manual in web x and i followed the info in php with no sucess. i have also read the post in web x and the manual, still everything is not getting me any closer to solving these issues. can some one please help with some details please.!!

Oh i also forgot to tell you that i have the /blog/comments, folder setup as the public folder and read, write is enabled. I also tried to put in a public folder, setup the same way, and FTP the comments into that folder and that didn't work either. I have tried pretty much everything i could gather from the forums. but there are some gaps in my quest.

First of all..... You are running X5 8.0.15 (Update is 8.0.16)

Who is your hosting company? You should really be on a server running Linux not Windows. It does work but it takes time with windows.

My hosting co is Dyndns.com and we have our own server that i administer. and yes your right about the ver. i thought the last update was 8.16 that i downloaded, but it only say's 8.15 on the flash screen,  and as far as the server we use to have a linux server but it died so we had another one donated to us and windows server 2003 is what it had on it ( beggers cant be choosers) so i have been able to get it this far on this server. is there a lot more steps to get this to work ? and if so would someone be able to connect to the server and see what can be done to help? after all this is for a non profit organization that we have put a lot of invested time and i hate to break there hearts.
