Comprehensible Source Code?  en

Autor: Frank F.

I am currently reviewing the trail download.

  1. Does WebSite X5 Evolution 9 produce source code (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript... etcetera) that I can tweak independently of the GUI?  Assuming that one is sufficiently skilled to undertake such tasks, would so doing cause any predictable adverse consequences?
  2. Might one display original video that will play on various devices (HMLT5 with fallback) while restricting others from downloading or copying it?
  3. What is your return / refund policy?

Thank you...

Hello Frank,

1. This is not an easy question to answer to as WebSite X5 makes its best to remove the coding issues and allows professionals and beginners to publish easily. It is a real desktop CMS.

Have you seen you could already insert HTML blocks into your pages and even styles ? This means that all your own codes are kept when WebSite X5 exports the content before to publish it.

More, if you need a special design, you could : remove the header and put a height of 1px only,  or make the header translucent then insert your own code inside a HTML block including the path to a CSS template and even publish your files (images for example) using WebSite X5.

Do you have any example of what you need to achieve so we can discuss the best method to use ?

Hope this can help Smile

2. You can insert HTML5 code as pages are pure HTML5

3. I am not an Incomedia Staff member so I don't know but you have the trial version so you can test all the functions that you would use before to buy.

Hello Frank,

Like Samuel said, you can add your custom html code already in the project, or if you prefer, you can tweak it once exported because the program will convert the project to HTML and CSS code. Keep in mind that the tweask made in the exported project cannot be imported in the program and if you export it again, the program will overwrite your custom code added after the export. It's better to add it already in the project.

If you buy the program from our online store you have 30 days Money-back-guarantee.

If you require any further information, please feel free to write back.
