The truth is, I gave it up, after loosing hours and hours, each time I use version 10

I think this problem started with the Last update 4.28, as far as I remember it didn't happen before

Please try to uninstall the .NET Framework 4.0 and then use this cleanup tool:

Once done reinstall the .NET Framework 4.0 again from following link:

I followed your instructions and the truth is that things are going better.

I can work for a while now, but after a relatively long while, I encounter the same problem.

However, once it happened (the unexpected close down), it is imposible to go on working, it keeps crashing and crashing..

I found out that the program websitex5 is not unloaded from memory and stays active, even after closing down with warning.  Each time I started it again, it crashes again after a while.
After a restart I can work again. 
Evenly, Unloading it with the help of TASKMANAGER, I can work again during a reasonable time.  

That is the actual situation for version 10.  I still prefere version 9, which never gave me any problem of that kind.

It seems to me that the conversion of V9 projects to V10 is failing partially.

Once conversion done, V10 crashes in previews of AUDIO and VIDEO objects and generally in all widgets, once you try to change anything in any widget, after conversion is done, IMPreview crashes.

Impossible to change measurements like height and width of widget objects, without crashing.
Even changing cell measures and cell definitions makes V10 crash in a converted project.

It seems tu me that version 10 is not mature enough to be launched and sold as a new version.
A new version should present less problems making users loose lots of time. 

Working on a (converted)  project, I loose 30 to 50% time, restarting and redoing.

I do not know if same thing happens with a brand new project, starting from scratch in V10, but I would appreciate that information about the experiences of those users who started a new project in V10.

The Program is working normally but it seems that there is a conflict with a plugin which causes these crashes. We need to figure out what is not making work normally the program on your computer. Please try to install Chrome and then install the WMP Player plugin by following these instructions: http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=95697

Try also to uninstall the program and then install the updated Version which you can find in your answers.websitex5.com profile under "Downloads".

Please try to open the preferences on the main screen of WebSite X5 and set the number of simultaneous processes to 1 and then check if the preview crashes again.

I set it on 5 and crashes are less frecuently.

I will now try to set it on 1.

I have been testing out the problem with 5, 3 and 1 simutaneous processes.

With these settings, (all of them) crashes are less frequent as with 10.
Most  crashes occur in changing the measurements (height and width) of widgets like video and related.  These objects seem to cause unstability at the time of preview.
Worst of all is trying to redimension widgets imported from version 9, so I opted to delete them all end set them up again within the V10.  However, this version is unstable and goes on crashing.

 V9 NEVER crashed and I really should have waited for this V10 to become more mature before buying it.

Now I have to go on with V10 because I cannot re-import my job in V9. No choice but I will not start any new project in V10 until being sure it works better without loosing time to restart the program over and over again.

Another evil thing is that the program does not unload from memory when crashing.  This means you have to restart the computer or quit the program in the TASKMANAGER tab: PROCESSES
if you do not quit it, crashes become more and more frequent and at the end, keep on  working results impossible.

Please go on developping the program and warn us when there are some updates available, correcting the existing failures.
