Hi Alan,

This is a fairly common problem at the moment, but not an insurmountable one.  Work your way through the following list, some of which I note you have already tried.

Try the following:

• Install with anti-virus disabled
• Install with firewall disabled
• Install on clean boot
• Install as Administrator (right-click on setup icon)
• Bypass any proxy servers
• Double-click on the imUpdate.exe file located in the WebSite X5 v10 - Evolution folder in your Program Files folder.  This will attempt to update Website X5 whilst the program is closed.  For best results do this on a clean boot
• If all else fails then you can always download the full program file incorporating the latest updates.  You will find this under the 'Download' tab on the drop-down menu at the top-right of this screen (headed 'Profile')  -  it's OK to simply run the downloaded setup file over the top of your existing v10 installation.  The system will update and replace files as necessary.  There is no need to uninstall X5 first
