Hi is anyone having issues with website visitors being unable to send mail from their site using Opera build 12.15.1748?
All was working fine in the previous version. Firefox, IE and Chrome work ok.

Hello John,
Does the visitors had any plugins or settings that could block the email form?
It is suggested to update always the browsers to the latest release.
I tested it with the latest release and build 12.15.1748 of opera and with both it is working correctly.
Many thanks!

Hi Claudio, No plugins or different settings. This started after a site up date even though I had only changed 1 page. And yes I up loaded the whole file set.
I tried from both my laptops with the same result. But when I looked at the e-mail addresses held in X5 I noticed spaces had crept in shown as %. I have re entered the addresses to clear the issue.
Hello John,
Now it is working correctly on opera?
Can you please tell me what Version do you use and where exactly was the % simbol?
Many thanks!

Hi Claudio, Version 9 a ptcture enclosed showing the e-mail address.
Hello John,
The code appears if you added a space before the email adress in the program. It has to be added because on links and files on internet the free space is not allowed.
Please check in the link you added if it's present a space before your email adress and remove it.
Many thanks!

Thanks Claudio but you are missing the point. This is ONLY happening in opera! the other browsers I have checked work okay.

Hello John,
Please write me the link to your website so I can check it with Opera to see what exactly happens.

Hello John,
I tested the mailto link with opera 12.15.1748 and there was not the before the email.
I tried it also with the latest version of Opera 15 and I couldn't duplicate the issue.
I checked also the source code and it is correct.
Have you tried to press CTRL and then F5 to refresh the cache to see if probably it has not been loaded correctly?
Many thanks!

Thanks Claudio,
Pressing ctrl f5 still gives me the same error message.
Unable to start the external email application

The system cannot find the file specified.
People are able to send mail using other browsers. I don't understand this problem with Opera. I will see if I can find the latest Opera 15.
Thanks

Hi Claudio,
Just installed Opera 15 and that works fine. Let's hope the next version works as well.
Thanks John.
