I would like to create a Welcome page that contains both an image and some text (not superimposed on each other). I would also like the Welcome page to have the same style as the other pages in my site - header, footer for example. How do I do this?

Yes you can do this with V8 I haven't mastered V9 yet!!
My Cyber Cafe below is something similar to what you want with no menu:

You just need to put a link to the next pages with menus upon them....
