Hi!
the software is really cool!
but
in Preferences there's an option to "update the pages while modifying the project" but it seems not working.
in need for your help guys! )

It updates the preview, not the website online.
I took the below text out of the help file:
Update the Pages while modifying the Project: synchronizes the pages you create in your website while you are working on your project. So, each time you confirm an addition or change (by clicking on an OK or a Next button), the Program recreates all the parts in other pages in the project that are affected by the new part. This feature keeps the website preview updated and if you click on the Preview to check your progress, you'll see all the additions/changes immediately.

i got that.

does that mean that if i add, say, a text object to Home page it will be automatically added to About Us and Services pages?

Only if these linked by some code. Not if the text on the other page is just the same.
For instance: If you have both options on and preview is open. Then you change the background of your custom template. after ok, all pages will be updated in your preview.
Without having to refresh yourself or close and open the preview.
These settings can be usefull if you want to see constantly how your website changes and saves you time on refreshing or closing and starting your refresh. But offcource it slows a little bit your work in X5 specially with big projects.
