I have added a table object to the tab . Now I want to delete this table. Select the table and press Delete button gives no result. How can I do this?

If you are in table page and using multiple tab's then every tab needs to have a table, because you are in the table object.
So you can not have an empty page there.
If you need a new table you need to make a new tab and delete the tab you do not wish anymore.
