How or where do you setup page size?
Is 1024 width the suggested ideal?
I do have web sites that were created using Front Page in another lifetime, so X5 Professional is brand new to me.
There will probably be a barrage of questions, but less and less as I get the hang of it.

You can set it in the custom template section, select the header, there you can change the width that als o determens the rest of the page offcource.
If you use a standard template you can't edit it, if you still want to make a copy, you can then edit and use the copy from the standard template.
