Hello, could someone please tell me how to remove the metatag generator ?
I have seen a few posts on this, but can't figure out how to do it.
I have x5 Evolution Version 11.
Many thanks to anyone who can tell me how to do this.

Unfortunately this feature is restricted to the Professional version only. There is no option present to do this in the Evolution version.
You can remove the metatag manually by exporting to disk in Step 5, editing the HTML, then uploading to your server.
You can open .html files in Notepad to edit them.
Look for the line on each page similar to this...
<meta name="generator" content="Incomedia WebSite X5 Evolution 11.0.1.12 - www.websitex5.com" />
and simply delete it.
A lot more work of course, which is why the Professional version is more expensive!
