open your project, go to general setting, then Expert tab, go to befor closing body tag, the code sitting there, remove it.

did you add the counter manualy? normaly when you use widget, and then removing it, all the code will be gone!

Original "StatCounter" code added via widget. Updated "StatCounter" code added via widget. Without erasing original code first.

Ended with two counters visible. Not what I wanted.

In attempting to clean up the pages, I removed the Updated code via widget.

Original "StatCounter" code remains. See attachment #2 as viewed in Internet Explorer.

Attachment #1 shows WebSite X5 widget. No option to erase unwanted "StatCounter" code.

How do I erase the Original sourse code via Website X5?

I just purchased version 11 as I think it has an html editor feature.

New problem, my Norton protection thinks it is a bad program and will erase it after download.

Options?

Remember, the full feature of every program is the most expensive one, in this case pro version of the x5 is the best one.

go to your norton, there is program setting, change the setting to trust the program. also when norton blocks and erase the program, you will receive a message click on it and folow the onscreen options, or click on the norton, go to performance, find the day you download the program it will be a yellow/red mark over there go to details of it, on the right side of the new window it will give you and uption to restore, hit the restore and follow the other prompts.
