Showbox gallery pinch and zoom

I am creating a website which is designed to be used on mobile phones and tablets in portrait mode. When the user clicks on an icon, a Showbox Gallery opens. I have noticed however that there is no way to pinch and zoom in on this item (it contains text which needs to be read). I have attached an example of how this looks on my Android phone.
I have set the Showbox to have a height of 1080 which I believe will be higher than most users' devices so I know that the image can be displayed larger than it is. The reason why I have chosen Showbox gallery is because sometimes the documents displayed are on several pages; users with touch screens can swipe to see the next page. I know I could use PDFs instead but this would make the site much slower so would prefer to stick with JPGs.
Is there a way round this that anyone can help me with?

showbox will create a fix frame around you work. try to set it on 800, it should show it bigger on the screen. I do not think is posible to make the frame to be zoomed. what is your website addres, I will check it with my samsung note2.
