Hangs at project selection

This is the second time opening Evo5 V 12 and it now hangs at project selection, having to close the program with device manager.
I updated it from 12.0.0.12 to 12.0.1.15. and was able to access the program fine after the update.
This second opening of Evo the freezing occured. Thinking that the update might be causing the freeze, I uninstalled Evo 5 and reinstalled it once again, but the problem is still there with a complete freeze without the update.
I can do nothing with it other than calling up and closing with device manager.

Update.
Uninstalled and reinstalled once again and restarted comp just in case. Still froze with 12.0.0.12 so updated to 12.0.1.15, again froze once updated.
After 2 more forced closings and opening, I clicked on start before any of the projects/offers showed on the first page, no freezing. I was able to choose and import project from V 11 and loaded it fine.
Not quite believing it I have closed and opened Evo twice more with no problems with the freezing.
Now though I am having other crash problems which I will post about!
