Hello Abi,

To add text to the desktop footer go to Step 1 General Settings > Template Customization > Footer tab  -  click on the 'Insert text' icon on the editing toolbar (it looks like a capital 'A'), and insert your text.

To turn any text into a link, hold down the left mouse button then drag your mouse across the text (in the 'Content' box near the bottom of the screen), which will highlight it and make it turn blue.  Then click the 'Apply a link' icon in the editing toolbar (which looks like a chain link).

The procedure is slightly different when it comes to links in the responsive footer.  In this case please follow the instructions in this thread:
