How do I turn entire page background black?  en

I am creating my own website (not from template).  I would like the entire page and all cell backgrounds to be black.  How do I do this?  Also, can I change the time of fade transitions on a slide show from 5 seconds to 3 seconds?  How?

you can set the background for ALL pages in the template (step1) -> template style -> page background. use a file with a small black dot (just a few or 1 pixel) then set repaet to 2 or 3.

for 1 page background : goto step 2 click properties, goto graphic tab , enable custom settings and do the same as before:

for cell background: step3 , click cell style,  then image background and to the same as above.

If you talking about the galery object slide show, yes, press on the picture in the list tab the Effect option.

tips:

Try to use the help file ! (press F1 where ever your are in x5 to get the help file on that object. It's very good !

If you need to write down text in a black background you won't see the text, you can set the text in x5 to white with the option button light / dark bckground inside a text object.

Best Regards Andre

Still having trouble with this.  I am still getting white seperation lines between the cells.  I am trying to turn every page totally black so I can put photographs and light colored text over it.
