I used to be able to PDF files directly onto my web site as single pages. I have upgared to Website X5 Professional 12 and apear not to be abele to do this. I insert a PDF page though the PDF wigget, but when the page is viewed "Live on-line" it does not show and just downloads the PDF file.
I never used to have this issue before the upgrade.
Has anyone any ideas please.

Hi, Thank you for your reply,
My PC does have a PDF reader installed. I can view all PDF files.
On the old version of Website X PDF files showed on preview and online.
Ealier I inserted a PDF file onto my site Websitex 5 Pro 12) and uploaded it and the file could not be seen on a friends PC either, He had the same when he clicked on the page in the menu the file just downloaded.
Can you give the website adress? Hopefully this helps us , helping you.

Many thanks, The link to the page with the PDF is on:

I get the same result as Paul.
What browser are you using? In Firefox under tools/options and then applications you can set pdf files to open in firefox or download and open in acrobat reader. Is it possible you have changed the default at some time by selecting always download?
Perhaps try view your site in a brower you don't normally use?

Why is it always the simple things?
I have just tried, as suggest using a different browser and as you both say it works!
I normally try out a couple of browser but did not this time. I normally use Firefox and have now changed the settings.
Many thanks Paul and Phil, can't belive I missed the most basic of all tests.
Thanks again.
Thx for the links, glad it worked out.
