Menu is not responsive

I'm working out how to make sites responsive onto Smartphones.
But I can't seem to get the MENU to work.
See www.wirraltearooms.co.uk on a mobile...
The MENU 'lines' are there to the right on the Navigation bar... but when you tap them.. the screen goes dark gre, but nothing else of the menu is visible...?
Can someone help please...?

Paul, it works perfectly on my Android phone thru firefox, but sadly not through the default browser.
I suspect it may be something to do with your header content at various resolutions interferring with the correct resolution display for the menu.
ie (on MY PC) at desktop resolution the phone number does not fit in the header.
. . . and, at tablet resolution you have new menu wording, but the desktop resolution wording is also visible, if it was me I would hide all unnecessary header content for tablet and lesser resolutions (you may have to click randomly outside of the header to find the blocks to delete - see attchment for example)
