I've established a webstore using Website x5 Evolution 9 at the following link; glittergasm.net
For some reason, when I add an item to the cart, checkout and fill in the postal details etc, I do not receive any email regarding a new order received. Nor does the customer receive an email withe the order confirmation. Could anyone tell me why this might be occuring? Does the payment have to be submitted before confirmation emails are sent through to the customer and order details to the webstore email?

Ask your hoster why script (or server) don't accepts the POST requests.

I have been in contact with my web host (one.com). They seem to think that it is an issue with the software. They've said to ask the support for websitex5 on where you can enter the email settings we have in their software.

Unfortunately since the release of WebSite X5 13 we do not offer direct technical support for version 9 anymore, as you can read here https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/es/post/128269 .
Still, this doeas not mean that you cannot get any support at all: you can keep this post as public, so that the other users and moderators can read it and help you find a solution.

Anyone else that could possibly help it would be greatly appreciated. Would like to get this up and working ASAP!!

Could someone tell me, if upgrading to Evolution 13 from Evolution 9 should fix the errors regarding emails no working? Also, is it possible to transfer a project from Ev.9 to Ev.13 easily and without disruption to the visual aspects of the site?

The projects from Evolution 9 can be imported in Version 13. Probably you will need to adapt some settings since the functions changed and have been improved between the versions.
