PROGRAM CRASHES UPLOADING PHOTO

Everytime I upload some photos the software crashes . It uploads the photo darker than the original and does not allow me edit. When i try to edit the photo the whole programs crashes and I recover project. Please help.

Tomas, if the photo is large, resample it down to the maximum size it will be viewed on the web (1024px wide??). If you don't have suitable software I have found irfanview does a great job (and it is free).

Try to resample the images like Esahc suggested by optimizing these for the web and test again if you experience the same issue.
In casee it should still happen let me know the exact error message you receive.
