Gallery Object not showing correctly in Edge

Hi All,
Looking for some advise/help, I have created a page containing photos using the Gallery Object. The photos change as expected in both IE11 and Chrome, however when using the dreaded Edge browser sometimes only the first photo can be seen, when the remaining photos should appear the area is blank although the scene appears to be changing. Occassionaly not even the first photo shows.
My website is at naphillvillagehall.org.uk and if you go to Events tab, then Bonfire & Fireworks Display, various fireworks photos should display and then change to the next photo.
I am using x5 version 14 (reluctant to move up to version 15 at present, had enough problems with version 14).
Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
Jim

Jim, your fireworks images display fine on my copy of edge (c/w sound effects), have you cleared out the cache?
Hold CTRL & press F5
Sometimes this is necessary on different pages, most people won't need to do this, but if they are frequent visitors the cache can fail to clear in a timely manner.

Hi Esahc,
Thank you for your prompt feedback. I have tried viewing the website concerned on an other PC using Edge and it does indeed work fine.
However having cleared out the cache, carried out a repair to Edge and even finally a reset, none of my websites that I use the Gallery Object in shows the photo changeover (if any photos at all) correctly, usually only showing a blank where the photos should be with the "blank" changing to an other "blank".
So have to accept that there is a problem with Edge on my PC, what it is or how to resolve it I don't know at present. Why Microsoft just did not continue with IE and improve/update where necessary rather than inflict Edge on us I don't know.
Such is life !
Many thanks for your help,
Jim
Jim, as with many things Microsoft does, they may not have done it properly.
You might like to try manually clearing the cache (which can live on between deletions and re-installs).

Good luck!

Hi Esahc,
Thank you for the further feedback, unfortunately the problem now shows up on the laptop that I used to check my website naphillvillagehall.org.uk on Edge. In addition to this the problem also shows up on another website of mine aaronroofers.co.uk when using Edge.
I had set up Edge on both my PC and the test laptop to clear the cache when the browser is closed, in addition to this I have carried out the instructions in ypur post above, all to no avail.
Iniatially when I created the website naphillvillagehall.org.uk I used Swiper Animated Slider to set up the photos that are shown on the Home Page. These photos were set up with the Swiper Animated Slider effect of "cube", this effect shows OK in IE and Chrome on Edge instead of the photos changing in a revolving cube effect they only change. I flagged this up to Incomedia at the time (late last year), however the problem does not appear to have been rectified.
Whilst I am critical of Edge after further testing I believe that the issue is with both the Swiper Animated Slider and the Gallery Object and that the problem is caused by these two object in X5 not working as they should with Edge.
If you have the time, could you log onto these two websites naphillvillagehall.org .uk then Events then Bonfire & Fireworks Display and also log onto aaronroofers.co.uk a few times in the space of an hour or so and see how they perform. I know that I am asking a lot from you but I am really well fed up with the issues that appear to be created by Incomedia. I may be totally wrong in which case I will apologise and stand corrected, but I think that this problem is created by Incomedia.
Many thanks for all your help so far,
Jim
Jim. I will do as requested and post a reply as soon as I have done so.

Hi Esahc,
Thank you for your continued feedback and help, it is very much appreciated. I have also asked other people to check my website naphillvillagehgall.org.uk Events Page then Bonfire and Fireworks Display using Edge. What they should see is as in the attached jpeg (Chrome) a range of fireworks photos that should change over. When using Edge (see attached jpeg Edge) all they get is the occassional photo then blank squares that change over to other blank squares. I have the same problem with another one of my sites when viewed in Edge.
I believe the issue is that both Swiper Animated Slider and Gallery Objects do not work correctly in Edge and whilst I accept that Edge has its issues it is now a widely used browser therefore these X5 objects should work correctly with it.
Many thanks for all your help.

Oh dear. . . .
Jim, I was about to report that I can find no problem when displaying http://naphillvillagehall.org.uk/bonfire---fireworks-display.html in edge, chrome or firefox, on 2 different PC's
BUT
Then I loaded aaronroofers.co.uk again on all 3 browsers on 2 different PC's, and on one (ONLY ONE!!) it failed to display the slide show.
Both my PC's are Win 10, my main PC is way out of date (still running win10 1503. On the out of date PC, EDGE shows both websites perfectly. On the up to date (win10 1803) PC, Edge displays naphillvillagehall.org.uk perfectectly every time, but aaronroofers.co.uk never (slideshows).
This is obviously something that Incomedia should investigate, but I do not envy them the task when it appears to be a moving target.
If you have the time, can I suggest you create a new project and include only the problem slideshow from naphillvillagehall.org.uk and the one from aaronroofers.co.uk on the home page. Assuming these misbehave, export the new project and attach the iwzip to a post requesting Incomedia assist/investigate.
(please ensure that all optional objects (swiper, etc) are fully up to date before proceeding).
I look forward to trying out your test project.

Hi Esahc,
Thank you for your further feedback, over the years PCs have had me often question my sanity, thank you for confirming that I am not yet insane. The PCs that I have been using to test this issue both are running Windows 10 Version 1803 build 17134.81 and are fully updated (well as fully as you can with Microsoft).
I have prepared a test site and loaded it at jimcosgrove.co.uk with samples of the Incomedia objects that are not working correctly in Edge. In both cases where the Gallery object is used in naphillvillagehall.org.uk and aaronroofers.co.uk occasionaly you see a photo then this is followed by a "blank" which then changes to another "blank".
Where the Swiper Animated Slider is used in naphillvillagehall.org.uk you should see a revolving cube effect, this does not work in IE (OK IE is old and not updated), or Edge. I did flag this up to Incomedia late last year to be informed that as IE was old etc.etc. but it should be working in Edge.
I have created a iwzip file of the test project as requested, however it is too large to attached to this post, can you advise how to send it to Incomedia.
Once again many thanks for all your help.
Jim.

Once uploaded I believe you create a link and post it back here.
But please, start a new post.
I will be watching :-)
