I want to insert the HTML code for Disqus into each new blog post I create. Where are the files for each individual post located. I can't find them. I don't want to have comments for every post ... just for a particular author's posts.

Hello Stephen
Instead of inserting html code, you can just enable Disqus Comment for your Blog Post
Open Website X5>Go to Step 1: Settings>Click on Blog>Then click on ArticlePage tab>Then in the Comments Section, tick on 'Let readers add comments on your Blog' checkbox and then from the dropdown menu of Comment Management System select Disqux>Then insert Disqus short name and save it
Hope this will help you
Thank you

Thanks ANI B. I did the preview after doing that and the link on the preview blog directed me to Disqus to create an account. But it then directed me to manually install some HTML code into the bogs file. Any idea if I am supposed to insert that code.
Hi Stephen,
If you decide to use Disqus through the Article Page section of the blog, it will apply its code to every blog post.
If you do not wish to do so, then you will have to manually insert the code yourself only in your desidered blog entries. You can do so in the Content section of the specific post.
Be aware though that you will have to get, customize and maintain the custom code manually, since the code embedded this way is completely external to the software's functionality, and thus the Staff cannot offer support for it.
let me know if I can provide any further information on the matter
Thank you

Thank you, Stefano. I have one of two blog writers who wants comments. So I need to insert the Disqus code into the Content for his posts. Is it the x5feed.php file that contains the content where the code must be inserted? If not, which file is it. Thanks, again, for your help.

Also, an update to the problem. I decided to try just enabling Disqus and uploading (so that every post has Disqus). after uploading, all that appears is a link to Disqus, which requirs you to go through the whole process of installing the HTML directly into the site files. So whether it's done for blog or just one blog, it still require the code to be inserted into the right file.
Hi Stephen
I believe it might have been activated the wrong way. All you need to do should be adding your Disquis username here:
And then it should display the whole comment section at the bottom of each blog entry. Is it not so? What link are you seeing, could you attach a screenshot of what displays here so that I might check it out?
Please keep me posted
Thank you

I am sending pictures of main results.
1) picture of how I completed boxes on Website X5 16;
2) what it looks like after uploading to host;
After creating account setup on disqus, the remaing picyures are of REQUIRED steps to get Disqus to display on my blog page.

Your sites directions on how to upload multiple pictures stinks.

Stephen - for future reference. You can copy and paste (then resize) one or many images in a post. simply select copy of the image, then right click paste image into post, drag top left handle down to shrink.

Thanks for the tip. Very helpful.

It is my hope that someone can come up with an answer as to why Disqus is not installing despite the fact that Website X5 has that feature in the blog section of the project.
Hi Stephen.
The universal code you're not going to need it. All the necessary code will be provided by WebsiteX5 automatically, and you can stop worrying about any kind of implementation headache.
I believe you've actually inserted the wrong "Shortname" there. It is usually a lowercase one, with no spaces. Please check your Disquis account again for it, and try again.
It should display in your URL something like this:
Please double check this configuration and keep me posted
Thank you
