When starting up my project I get an error message saying some fonts have not been linked ... (see attached). I would chane the font but don't know how to locate where it is in my project. I certainly have never intentionally used anything call "fakeFont".

If you search for the name of the fonts in the directory of the project in the windows explorer, the css files for the project will be found, so that you can recognize the page (s) in the project and clean up the text contents there.

Thank you for responding, but unfortunately I am a real neophyte as for my computer capabilities; one of the reaons I bought a package like X5 was in the hope it would "isolate" me from having to search directories etc.
Anyway, I 've spent some time wandering around my C Drive with Explorer. Found some folders with names like "Program Files" and "Program Data" and even some labeled WebsiteX5. But nothing contain "css files". Any guidance?

The wx5 project data is in documente incomedia WebSitex5 - Evolution ....

JJ - Wes does not know the fontname, WX5 is reporting fakeFont
I started to reply to assist him, I was going to suggest going back to the original project in the earlier version and opening it in the version of WX5 that created it, but I could not think of a way to assist him in finding an unknown font.
Do you reckon fakeFont is a Font??
I can not show them the fakefont.ttf, but I can not rule it out because anyone can generate fonts. If the fontname appears in the project, it must have been used somewhere, where it has to be deleted.
It might also be possible to provide the iwzip-file (without access data ftp) as an attachment (if not too big without backup and preview) for analysis.

Have done some looking around the system and found lots of X5 files in various folders in "Documents" but none with the suffix ".ttf".

Wes, is it possible to load 'the original version" of your site in the original version of WX5 and identify which fonts you may have used? Other than the default font for pages, I have generally found my misdemeanors in the header :-)
I suspect WX5 is using a generic term "fakefont" because it cannot find the font once referred to - you did not bring the project over from a different PC per chance??
