GoDaddy says I need these things for my webite to be functional with my godaddy domain name.

1) IP address of server

2) C name

3) URL of websight( on X5 end

4) DNS (name of system X5 uses)

I have my X5 website done, and have a GoDaddy domain name in place and figuring out how to do last step is very confusing. Filling out required fields on step 5 can't be done like it asks.. go daddy has no FTP address, username, or password... Any help would b appriciated.

Richard, there are a number of resources showing how to upload your site to godaddy eg https://au.godaddy.com/help/move-my-website-with-ftp-and-filezilla-20319

You do have a username and password, this would have been sent to you in an email and is normally the same username and password you use to access the control panel.

To upload to godaddy it is generally just a case of filling in the blanks, you generally do not need 1,2,3 or 4 above

But if this won't work for you (many things, including ftp may have changed since the release of v13) I recommend downloading filezilla (free) as almost all examples I found on the web used filezilla. Be aware that if using filezilla you must export your website to disk and then you simply upload the content of that directory. Because a backup of your project is only automatically done when you upload via FTP in WX5 you will need to (regularly) create your own backup by using step 5 export, export project. This will create an iwzip which you can manually rename in Windows if you wish to keep multiple versions (recommended).
