My published website http://www.voorbeeldwoningen.be and host by: awardspace.

The site is online but I lost all the data on my HD including the .IWZIP file with my website on it. I can't modyfy nor change the site now. Is there away to dowload the site from the server , so I don't need to make the site from scratch again?

No there is not.

You can use the data online like pictures and text to copy into a new projec.

But the project can't be saved from website.

Make backup's regulrly also on other media, or let a backup program run in the background from time to time to make backups.

Sorry no better news for you in this case.

Eventually you could use other programm that accept html/php files and edit website with it.

If you have a backup of an intact folder ( the folder where the X5 projects were stored ), then you will be able to access the projects from there.

Install the X5 software.

Set where the projects should be saved/stored.

Create a test-project and save it.

Then check where the project is saved. Then copy your backup project to/onto the correct location.

You should then see the "old" projects when you open the X5 program.

If you don't have a backup at all, then do as Andre told you.

Always export your project regularly to an offsite location like dropbox, or other cloud storage....  Even local backup devices can be lost, damaged, stolen, etc

There are some free forensic programs available that can recover data from damaged hard drives (if they still physically spin up) so it might be worth checking these out to see if your IWZIP might yet be recoverable. John S has great advice here for all users regarding backup...even though it isn't going to help you directly in your situation. :(
