Can I put a picture and a description of a product on the site to get to the page from which to buy?
This is part of a product catalog but individually from where you can only get into the product do not buy.

Hello.I think it can be done. Here is an example.Product "Fiorentina (v)", "Fiorentina 2". You can try to hide the add to cart button using CSS.
Here's how I did it:
I created a page and set a link to it. Detailed video can be found here (this is a paid course).
Hello Aleksej, I notice the URL on your "Fiorentina" and "Fiorentina 2" etc, end in .php ... did you have to create a separate page in your Sitemap for each product? I'm wanting my products to do as yours did when clicking onto the Fiorentina link, but, the problem with my website is that I will have over 900 digital music products to create a shop for, so I'm not sure of the easiest way to do so. Am I correct in that I would have to create an HTML page for every single product and then link each product in the shop to its respective page? I noticed yours ended in php but when I attempted this in the past with one product to test it out, mine ended in HTML.
Any information is greatly appreciated. I have a huge task ahead of me in converting my website from the older website editor I used to use (which I loved), to Website X5 and trying to figure out the best way to deal with my shop catalog and individual pages for each product.
"did you have to create a separate page in your Sitemap for each product?" - yes.
"Am I correct in that I would have to create an HTML page for every single product and then link each product in the shop to its respective page?" - yes. And it will be a big problem considering the quantity of your products.
"I noticed yours ended in php but when I attempted this in the past with one product to test it out, mine ended in HTML." - It's not a problem. If you place a cart object on the product page (for purchasing a product), the program itself will offer to change the extension.
"trying to figure out the best way to deal with my shop catalog and individual pages for each product." - Any task has several solutions. But I don’t see yet what else can be done within the program’s capabilities.
Thank you Aleksej for the information. I was afraid of your answers but so far it seems it's going to be the only way I can do it is to either make a separate HTML page for each of 900+ items, or to just not make separate pages and only have the catalog list... the benefit of the separate pages is that I would be able to send a direct link to someone to that page for a specific item whereas by doing catalog list only, I won't be able to do so. Thanks again for your reply, I appreciate it!
"so far it seems it's going to be the only way I can do it is to either make a separate HTML page for each of 900+ items, or to just not make separate pages and only have the catalog list" - Yes you are right.
"the benefit of the separate pages is that I would be able to send a direct link to someone to that page for a specific item whereas by doing catalog list only, I won't be able to do so." - not only this. You can give more information on each product. This can have a positive effect on the visibility of your site.
"hanks again for your reply, I appreciate it!" - It's my pleasure.Good luck to you.
