It was advised for me to create a "Create 404 Error page", is there anything that Incomedia has that can help me?

I am also using a iis/7 server. There is a app for error pages, but where does the error page go that you create? Does it go in the map (step 3) somewhere or is it a text file?
Hello.Create a regular page, mark it as page 404 and place whatever you want on the page you created.
After that, upload the site to your hosting. I do not work with IIS, but I think that 404 page should work.
Maybe you will also find this useful - https://www.ntweekly.com/2017/07/14/how-to-set-a-custom-404-error-page-on-iis-10/
Sadly (assuming you are averse to giving Incomedia money) in the pro version (not evo) you can create a 404 page and WX5 will automatically modify the .htaccess file as necessary.

.htaccess file files are not copmpatible when using iis server. Is the 404 page located (page 3) in website map and not in a sitemp? Is it a hidden file?
How do you move a file(s) to a different folder in your directory? Rather then delete a file/page I don't use anymore, I would think you can but can't figure it out.
Joe, my 404 page was simply created in WX5 and then I marked it as hidden (so it did not appear in the menu). In the control panel of your hosting you should be able to set your preferred page to handle 404 errors (I think that is how it is done with iis but I have been in linux server for way too many years). Aleksej provided a screen shot.
Hi Joe,
with the Pro edition you could actually very easily create a 404-page by using the built-in function: https://guide.websitex5.com/en/support/solutions/articles/44000807749-come-si-crea-una-pagina-404-personalizzata-
Please check out the "Offers" page of your account if you are interested in switching to the Pro edition.
Thanks! Kind regards.
