Google Maps Object - change the configuration language

I used the Google Maps object in my project / website, but the informative texts are in Italian (eg Itinéraires, Agrandir le plan, etc.), although my entire application is in Portuguese (Brazil).
How do I set this object for my language?

Hi Elisa,
In the software viewer the information appears in Italian, but when the site is published it appears in the browser's native language, in my case Brazilian Portuguese.
Problem solved.
