Website X5 FTP Upload Stops Working

Hi,
When uploading my project, the progress indicator gets to 11% and my upload dies. As a work around, I know I can use FileZilla and upload my website. I still think it would be really nice if Website X5 could improve their FTP support and have more built-in FTP controls. How about giving us an option to do partial and selective uploads of files? Allow us to select specific files to exclude from an upload. I would gladly pay for those improvements and purchase an Website X5 upgrade. If you have any ideas or solutions that may help me with my upload problem, let me know. Thank you.

Are you getting error messages? Please inform
In the case of unstable internet access, it often helps to reduce the number of simultaneously uploaded files to 1 or a smaller number than currently used.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did not receive any error message. The upload just stopped completely at 11% and it normally should only take a few minutes (not hours). To make sure, I waited over an hour and the upload progress bar did not move.
As you recommended, I did try one simultaneous connection and it did not help. Using FileZilla, I was able to upload my entire website, without any issues. I doubt it's a problem with my network, operating system, or ISP. I called my ISP and they confirmed that the uploads were not large enough to cause any issues.
After I stopped the Website FTP upload, I could not reconnect, unless I rebooted my computer to close all connections. In that case, I would get a crytic error message. The error was something like "Generic error. Could not open port...." The port was 21 using unencrypted FTP protocol. To me, this suggests that even if I specify one simultaneous connection, the Website X5 software is still trying to have multiple simultaneous connections. Since too many processes are occuring, maybe it is overloading the system.
Hello Scott,
This issue is possibly connected with your other issue, here:

You may find that fixing that problem fixes this one at the same time.
Kind regards,
Paul

Hello Paul,
I thought the same as you, but when I tried it again with the correct spelling of the domain name in the files, the FTP failed once again! Actually, I am now fairly sure I know the problem. FileZilla seems to work whether it's in passive or non-passive mode, but not Website X5. That's what fooled me. Using Website X5 FTP in passive mode, my download is at 65%, so it's looking good. I upgraded my old website to a new host that has improved security features. I think the improved security of the new host was causing the FTP to die.
