Different appearance in preview and in browser 
Autor: Martin J.I created a website in Incomedia Website x5 Evolution 12. In the preview window the website looks correctly (as I desire). The website is alredy uploaded to server, but when I am opening the website casualy in any web browser, it looks a bit different. For example, some texts are displayed differently: links should be underlined (and are not), previously displayed links have wrong color, some texts in the header should be bold (and are not). Everything else seems to be correct.
I also tried exporting the whole project to some folder in my PC - if I open any HTML file from that folder in browser (Mozilla Firefox), it also looks correctly. The problem appears only while opening the website from the server.
Anyone has any idea, what is wrong? Has it something to do with PHP version on the server? I tried to change the default version 7.3 back to 5.6, but it did not help.

Martin, I agree with Paul, please provide a link. However, the problem is probably due to you using fonts available on your local PC, but neither websafe nor embedded in the website.
My memory fails me on how to embed a webfont or google fonts back in v12, but I would like to assure you that this is exceptionally easy to do in the current versions. I highly recommend you upgrade to the current version of evo (or pro). It would be a simple matter to export your existing v12 project to an iwzip and then import the iwzip into the current version.

I attatched a printscreen of of the preview I can see in Website x5 with marked differences.
I also tried changing font (Verdana to Tahoma), but with no result.
Martin, step 1 template style, text style and set color and attribute for active, mouse over and visited link.
But if this is correct on preview perhaps a simple full upload (not new and changed) will resolve the issue, this also applies to your header, it may simply have not uploaded if you selected new and changed. Back in v12 the header was generated as an image, so if it looks correct on preview it should be correct online.
I also note you have created a link against individual words rather than a full phrase in some cases (although this should have no influence on your issue).

Settings in step one and new full upload is done, but still no change.
The header is generated as .png image. In preview it looks OK, in browser not. I downloaded the header image "top.png" from the server via FTP connection and opened it - looks correct. I do not uderstand it.
The browser simply must be displaying different header image, than I uploaded. But before the last upload I deleted manualy everything on the server except empty root folders - and it did not help.
It looks like it was an older version of the "top.png" image - the older had no bold text, the actual has some bold text.
I just checked Martin, your website has updated. Hold the ctrl key down and press F5 to flush the browser cache and force a refresh.
